How I think about design…

• Product development is a team sport
  Getting to success is a journey of a multidisciplinary, talented team including designers, with passion, talent, practice, strategy, collaboration and trust (and at times: patience)

• Build mindshare, inspire mind shift.
  Design makes problem solving tangible, accessible and inclusive. It enables people to connect, explore different perspective, ideas, situations, opportunities, together.

• Diversity is vital, privilege is an opportunity, and responsibility
  As a human being, manager and employee, I choose to use my privilege(s) and skills to ensure different perspectives & experiences are heard and included.
  I expect the same from those I work with (and for).

• Design with the future (and end) in mind
  Designing meaningful, scalable and sustainable solutions requires deep understanding of (and attention for) people & context, and impact (desired or unintended). Especially in the area of AI and Machine learning, building responsible and ethical experiences starts with thoughtful design.

• Beauty & delight
  Great design goes beyond enabling people with the information and tools they need to get their work done with ease & efficiently - it makes people feel smart, in control and proud of what they do. At times, the beauty of an experience is visual, in other cases delight comes from the elegance of the experience itself.
